The Kubota Z482-E3 is a 479 cc (29.2 cu·in) natural aspirated two-cylinders four-stroke liquid-cooled internal combustion vertical diesel engine from the Super-mini series, manufactured by Kubota for generators.
It has an 67.0 mm (2.64 in) cylinder bore and 68.0 mm (2.68 in) piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 23.5:1.
The Z482-E3 engine produced 11.0 PS (8.1 KW; 10.9 HP) at 3,600 rpm of the net (continuous) horsepower for EPA/CARB Tier 4 level engine or 9.4 PS (6.9 KW; 9.3 HP) at 3,000 rpm of the net (continuous) horsepower for EPA/CARB Tier 4 level + EU Stage V.
