The Honda E600 is self-excited, externally-exited, single-phase, 4-pole portable generator with 600 VA of AC output power and 50/60Hz of rated frequency (depending on model). The E600 generator is available with AC 120V, 220V or 240V (depending on model).
The Honda E600 generator used the Honda G25 single-cylinder gasoline engine with 59 cm3, (3.6 cu·in) of displacement. The engine has a side-valve (L-head) design, a plash-type lubrication system, a high voltage ignition system, and a horizontal carburetor with a butterfly valve. The cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 46.0 mm (1.81 in) and 35.6 mm (1.4 in), respectively. The compression ratio rating is 8.6:1.
The engine produced 2.5 PS (1.83 KW; 2.5 HP) at 6,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 1.8 PS (1.3 KW; 1.7 HP) at 5,000 rpm of rated power.
