The Cub Cadet 124 is a garden tractor model from the 1X4/1X5 series, manufactured from 1967 to 1969 by Cub Cadet (a part of International Harvester) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It was available in a two-wheel drive (2WD) version.
The Cub Cadet 124 is equipped with a 476 cc (29.0 cu·in) single-cylinder gasoline engine with 85.7 mm (3.37 in) of the cylinder bore and 82.6 mm (3.25 in) of the piston stroke, and one of two transmissions: a shaft-driven gear type transmission with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear (6 forward and 2 reverse gears with creeper).
