The Caterpillar C0.7 is a 0.7 L (760 cc, 46.5 cu·in) naturally aspirated three-cylinders four-stroke liquid-cooled internal combustion vertical diesel engine, manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. Industries and applications powered by Cat C0.7 engines include: compactors and rollers, general industrial, mobile earthmoving, equipment, mobile light towers, turf, and landscaping.
The Cat C0.7 engine has a three-cylinders, cast-iron cylinder block, overhead valve design, indirect injection fuel system, 12 volts electric starter motor, and 12 Volts (14 amp) alternator. This engine used a belt-driven coolant pump and coolant temperature switch. The lubrication system consists of a closed-circuit breather, spin-on lube oil filter, lube oil pressure switch, and lube oil sump.
The CAT C0.7 engine produced:
- EU Stage IIIA and U.S. EPA Tier 4 Interim equivalent emission standards: From 16.6 PS (12.2 KW; 16.4 HP) at 2,800 rpm to 20.8 PS (15.3 KW; 20.5 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power.
- U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards: 12.0 PS (8.8 kW; 11.8 HP) at 2,800 rpm of maximum horsepower.
