The Nissan VH41DE is a 4.1 L (4,130 cc, 252.03 cu·in) V8 natural aspirated four-stroke gasoline engine, manufactured by the Nissan Motor Corporation since 1991 to 2001.
The Nissan VH41DE engine has a V8 aluminum cylinder block, dual-overhead camshafts (DOHC) design for increased efficiency and optimal power transfer. This engine used a multi-point fuel injection system with 270 cc fuel injectors. The VH41DE engine`s heads are equipped with hydraulic lifters and used variable valve timing system (VTC) on intake camshafts.
